What OS do I have?

I got my 1000 used and I'm sure I have the Akai OS but how do I know what version I have? The splash screen tells me how much RAM I have and that's it.

Well, I upgraded to Akai 2.12. Already experiencing the "new folder" bug. I'll be getting JJos as soon as my RAM upgrade comes in the mail.

Got JJOS1 and I'm loving it. Might go to JJOS2XL in the future.

Are you able to save in 308 the free OS?

I have no experience with JJos free version but the consensus is you can't save. I have JJos1 4.99 and it's wothr the $$...

Yeah might have to cough up and spend a little dollar then. Im form Aus so im just little worried in receiving the password. Hate paypal, just due to the few days it takes to do anything

I thought i read somewhere that you can save with the free version, just cant with the other JJ until you pay for password?
You know more on that? Can find HEAPS of info regarding JJOS. I mean ill be able to just figure it out myself and seccond now!

Yep, You can save with the free version, But with the next version up, you require a password to activate the save function,

Bro, You wont be dissappointed with the jjos, you will find that the workflow, is a lot more crisp, you can fly through functions witch keeps your chain of thought fresh

Couldnt wait one sec for your reply. Around here apparently they are discontinued! They only had 1gig. Thats ok for now. Ill find a bigger one somewhere. Still looking for a good place to get my hard drive cradle, ill find one soon too.
