Hi guys, Just had an idea that it would be good if anybody that knows any secret or hidden menus on the mpc 1000 to list them all here..Any little things that might not be obvious to people really as I haven't seen a page dedicated to it??
I'm not sure how many there are but so far I've got..
Change Brightness/Contrast Of Display:
Hold Shift & Turn DATA Wheel = Akai OS
Hold Stop & Turn DATA Wheel = JJ OS
Reset All Settings:
Hold down ERASE button & turn on machine.
Load A New OS:
Insert CF card with BIN file on, Hold down WINDOW button & turn on machine.
Owner Name:
Select Mode / Other.
Press F3 to reach the Footswitch screen, then F6.
What you enter here will be displayed as the MPC1000 boots.
Credits Screen:
Select Mode / Other.
Select Misc
Hold SHIFT and sequentially press F5, F4, F6
Pad / Slider Test:
Hold SHIFT and sequentially press D, C, B, A
Pad Sensitivity Tweak:
note: From MPC1000 OS 1.04 on, this feature is no longer hidden: the pad sensitivity can be modified at Mode / Other / Pad.
Select Mode / Other;
Press Shift and F4.
Think that's all I know at the moment, anybody know any others?
