i can do most of that already in soundforge, but that thing at the end of the second vid is kinda cool, a little narration or something woulda been nice, i suppose i could do the same thing though by chopping and reversing some samples and mixin them up, still interesting though

Not even close, a JJOS MPC coupled with the JJ-Sequencer doesn't even scratch the surface of that level of integration.

I'm guessing it's to stop the audio engine if the sequencer freaks out. It will be good if there is some level of integration between the mpc and my daw. If i can create programs from tracks i made in Live it would be useful. Have to wait and see what the update brings.

a vsti support would be great!!

It would. I'm a bit unclear as to what beginner oriented means. I wonder if this is jjs way of testing the market to see how much demand there will be for something like this and if it does well he'll make a more advanced version that can host vsts etc. Must be a lot of work for one guy anyway. If he creates a dedicated soft sequencer for the mpc1000 i would not mind that. :D

I managed to load a project in the beta but the audio played for about 3 seconds and then it crashed so i guess i'll wait the next beta.
