I've been thinking of getting an MPC500 as a way of getting out of the computer rut, but I'm wondering if anyone uses MPCs in a live setting as a primary thing rather than just as a trigger for samples here and there. Can it be used on the fly like this (ie; quick looping and taking samples in and out, possibly quick effects)?
