is this a bug....

or are they all like this, I have batteries in and am on phones and it is making a high pitched noise

if its the same on all 500'[s) then thats cool but if not its going back

could someone stick some double A's in the 500 and load the phones to see if it does it

yup, mine does the same to.

just lets you know that the batteries are low. if your at home, use the adapter obviously, but if your away, just make sure you bring some good batteries. i have a rechargeable pack with 8 rechargeable batteries and i just rotate them so i never have a set that is low or dead. very good thing to buy
