Is your laptop an Acer? What sequencer are you running on it?

it's a hp compaq nw8240 w/dock, running 'last xp 20' for anyone that uses xp i highly recommend this os. it's the best of vista and xp, looks like vista but runs like xp.. find it on a torrent or something.. has it's own custom install with option what programs to install etc. DOPE! but it's shlt itself, wont turn off by shutdown and wont boot sometimes, but i leave it for 20 mins and it's good again, bios is all f'ed up it think. not an os problem! bout to get a mbp anyways.

btw it's fatt laced, this is my old account my imac logs me into..

EDIT: oh and fyi, i do all my sequencing in the mpc, that lapy is the net whore, goto clean up my imac and disconnect the airport soon. i use logic 8 on the imac more often these days, but not for sequencing!! just tracking and recording vocals. i just layed down a verse for fun over this beat i whipped up in 10 mins, straight in to mpc and got decent results.. really wish it was 24bit though so i could be happy doing it like that...

You got your myspace site listed. I reckon I could find your place in about half a day.

Just be careful. Perth aint that big.

By the way, nice setup.

i get what your saying bro, thanks for the heads up.. my house is clean as a whistle lately, i don't do any drugs anymore. i just stay to myself & focus on my music! i said the cops came around the other night from a noize complaint. i was more than happy to let them come in, i have nothing to hide. one of my emcees has just moved in, so i have two massive dogs holdin the fort down, and my brother is here just about 24/7 playing guitar & looking after his 4 month old, jordan.

so i'm not too fussed, perth is a small place yeah. but how you gonna now where i live from my myspace? track my ip address, then somehow connect it to my address.... any thugs i know are not that smart, and i know clever ones!. there's probably like 5-15 people from perth who come on these boards, and as i said i'm like a born again christian.. without any religious ties. cops are welcomed to raid my house, the most they will find is a bunch of legal graffiti at my shed, none of which has any ties to anything on the streets.. and as for the thugs, these dogs here will chew there nuts straight off!!

actually a really dope spot to have a graffiti battle, coz i got a big shed with a normal size door in the middle, so there's two identical size spots either side of the door perfect for a decent paint war!

are you from perth?

Just an updated picture of my room, sold a lot of my keyboards, got rid of the 2500 now have 2000xl, and got a new desk.

Must say, I'm really loving the Little Phatty. I know I still have a lot of gear but I found it helped a lot to thin out what I had to a few select things I use a lot. Going to do the same thing wit my guitars soon, some just don't get used as much as they should.

If anyone's ever suffering the 'Hmmm which sound should I use hear' type of writers block I would definitely recommend selling some stuff and really getting to know what the gear you have left can do. I use to switch between so many synths (real and virtual) trying to tweak to get the right sounds - now I've set up a single patch in the Little Phatty thats just a basic initialised starting point for me to create any sound on, I've made some really cool sounds doing it this way.

That setup is great man. Please don't sell the guitars, I spot that telecaster in there. Im wondering what the basses are...the far one looks like it might be an ibanez.
