I got the red pads and so far they feel good. To me they respond better than the stock grey pads.

OK guys- Finally snagged a camera to snap some pictures of the clear pads...I've got to say- they look MUCH better in person, the camera really doesn't catch what they look like. In fact, in these pictures they look pretty damn close to my stock grey ones. These pics were taken without a flash...

yeah I like that better than the grey for sure, BUT those are HARDLY clear.
I envisioned being able to see thru them a little at least. Like so that the pad sensors underneath were visible.
That woulda been dope.

I was thinking about getting clear for my 25k.. but u dunno. I looks cool on your 1k. but im not sure if I would like that on my 2500.

you should take more pics at different angles and in different light so we can get a better idea.

Yeah- they aren't translucent enough to see the sensors though them...but they do have a nice "icey" look to them, think of it as an in between the stock grey, and the bright white ones...

I'll take more pics when I can get some battery power! I thought I grabbed the power cable when I borrowed the camera, but I guess I didn't- DOH!

That Doom sticker is siiiiick. Did you get it from that DVD package? How sickk would it to put just one red pad in the top right corner, make it that reall MF Doom MP.

I would like to see photos of the Red pads on the 2500 and yellow pads on the Blue 2000xl. If you have them post them. I want to make sure they don't look too loud on them.

Those ones looks sooo good on the Blue 1K, but not too clear I thought you can see trough the pads, but cool!... those pads remember me more like my boss sp-303, what about the feeling? the feel on the sp-303 pads its awesome...

I have the blue 1K and I was thinking about get the black pads, black side panels, black jog wheel, black memory card slot, black LCD window, change those purple small buttons for some grey and change just the red buttons (REC and Over Dub) for some black... but IDK... I would like to see how good or bad those black pads look on the Blue 1K... if do not look that good like I believe I can just cop those Red pads and match with my red side panels (?)
