That setup is great man. Please don't sell the guitars, I spot that telecaster in there. Im wondering what the basses are...the far one looks like it might be an ibanez.

The Tele is a Squire Anniversary - it wasn't an amazingly good guitar in itself, but I took all the frets out and made it a Fretless guitar. Also as a nice side effect with no frets its also a great slide guitar. The basses are actually all by a company called 'Vintage' they're not top of the range but the brown woody ones are really comfortable and play really well - I have a 4 string Fretless and a 5 String fretted.

But I do love Ibanez guitars, I have a hollowbody one from them, and a more 80's style one with a Steve Vai bridge pickup (Yeah I was a bit of a guitar geek a few years back - trying to cool off the 80's vibes a bit recently, but here in the UK it seems like the 80s is back in fashion! My fashion timing is terrible!)

And I have regretted selling one thing - my Kurzweil, twice! lol Sold a 2600 rack, regretted it and bought a 2500 keyboard, then sold that. I did't like that it was so HUGE but I loved its huge sound and the deep programming on it. I do miss that thing! I think if I spotted a decent rack 2500 with the effects option that would be ideal and it would make it back into my setup. Even considered picking up a Kurzweil Effects unit just to get some of those lovely effects back in my rig. So yeah I guess you do have to be sure you don't need stuff you sell - I was very pleased to sell most of it though!

I like the idea of using the expedit as a desk for tables but it's not deep enough to have them battle style

There is a solution for that. Its also from IKEA. I've seen a tutorial of how to do it somewhere on the net.

I hope it was something less expensive...$69 bucks and it looks like he double it up? I'm curious...

I've been wanting to get that 2x4 expedit for a minute but the lack of depth for battle style turns has kept me away.

I was looking around I think it might be this Vika Amon table top $30.

Get some adjustable legs for $14 a piece and you're in business.

just get a battle style dj coffin and set it up on top of the expedit. it'll serve it's purpose when you wanna take your tables out as well.

Hi, first post for me. Been watching for a while tho.

I had to post something as I spent a lot of time trying to get the right furniture for my set up.

I had read that the expedit units werent big enough for a battle style set up, this is not the case

I have Numark TTXs and the feet fit on perfectly, there is a slight over hang of the turntable chasis but the feet are on perfectly. Im pretty sure my old 1200s fit on there as well.

Measure from the feet on your deck, they'll probably fit.

I wasted a lot of money and effort on a "deck stand" so just trying to pass my advice on, save you the time and effort!

If you want to raise it up get the CAPITA legs, they come in 2 heights, so you can raise it up.

Waitin on my MPC2000 to come from ebay, then ill put some pictures of my room up.
