http://www.sequencer.de/blog/wp-content ... G_1774.JPGFrom what I can tell from forum posts and videos, most people use the MPC to record sounds, chop them, and arrange them into patterns in realtime. Some people get into MIDI, but look how many come here asking why they can't hear the sound from their MIDI.
For most beatmakers using an MPC, why wouldn't they ditch that and use this microSAMPLER instead? It looks way easier. Those realtime auto-sampling modes look way faster and funner than manually recording, chopping, assigning in the MPC. This is an instrument.
Look how fast you can sample and have sounds trimmed and assigned to keys. There's no waveform display, or advanced editing, but most people don't need that. You'll stumble upon awesome sounds faster using this smooth workflow even without all the manual control.
If you wanted to sample a drum kit how long would it take with an MPC? With this you can turn a knob, push a button, play a kick, hat, snare, and it's instantly setup for you, ready to play. With the 48kHz sound files this won't play nice with the MPC.
With it being so much easier, it'll slowly grab your attention until you find yourself barely even turning on the MPC anymore. Maybe. There aren't that many details yet. Look at what happened with the Beat Thang. There's probably some catches no one's talking about yet.
