A while back i had sent my MPC in to get new pad replacements free of charge under warranty by Akai.
Once I got my MP back the pads felt great but then I noticed my Q Sliders were inoperative in TRIM now. This **** pissed me off royal. The tards also put my record and volume knobs on backwards...lol...That ones not a biggy since its really just the same knob with different colored lines (red, white).....but the Q sliders a big one for me since I appreciated using them quite a bit in TRIM.
Also, Id say after a good 1/2 a year later from the time i got my pads replaced my buttons and logic board seem to suck even more then before i sent my shit in?!...For example, by curser buttons are way less responsive now and my mode button is starting to suck balls too. (Mind you, im very nice to my MPC and take very good care of it.)
So in closing, for the longest time Ive been contemplating taking it apart to see if anything can be fixed, etc to make the buttons work better and the sliders work again in TRIM, but im just too afraid of **** an otherwise perfectly working machine into a vegetable.
If any of you have experience with fixing these kinds of problems yourself or know what might be going with the Q Sliders or Buttons please leave a response in this thread.
Thanks,
Brown
