I'm not sure it's smart to pre-order products from a "company" that has absolutely no real previous marketing history in this industry. Another thing that had me cautious was that I never heard it mentioned that any major music retailer would be carrying the "Beat Thang"....you would think with their past experience with the Zoom Streetboxx that they would at least be able to get their "Beat Thang" product into the Sam Ash stores with Zoom being a Sam Ash exclusive product.

I think that the "Kangz" are shaking in their boots with the new Korg and Roland samplers coming out and now they want to re-think their price point and market strategy. Just my 2 cents. :D

I hope you get your cash back.

yea, good luck to everyone who preordered, ive heard of people preordering video games and the game never comes out cause the company goes belly up and they get screwed outta their money and the game,, if I preordered i would wait till the day they said it would be sent and go to ur bank and tell em to cancel the charge, that you were ripped off,, or i would call the kangz and ask for my money back and tell them you will order again when/if it comes out..good luck..

it hasn't even been manufactured yet... they're probably hoping to get enough pre-orders to cover their manufacturing costs and then finally send the order to taiwan or wherever. this will continuously get delayed until a shitload of ppl are actually dumb enough to send them over $1k to just wait n see what happens.

The credit market is flowers'd people. Banks are lending less. You preordering is like a bank giving them a no interest loan.

I would think twice about pre ordering a new product even from an established big company (Akai, Korg, Roland etc) simply due to the fact that new products are sure to have bugs etc that need ironed out - normally I wait a good 6 months until the hard/software is stable enough to be used hassle free.

To pre order from a company that has little or no track record - and who has conducted themselves the way these guys have is just, well - mindboggling. Especially for such a high price point!

I hear you ^^^

If I'm not even going to be a first adopter for a company as big as Apple, I'm sure not going to do with BKE
