Just peeped the youtube vid. I like it so far. Looks like the Burger kangs are out

I was almost sold until i figured out theres no independent filter per sample. the only filter i believe is probably the one in the effect bus meaning one filter for the audio out. i do like how you can spread the sample of any key across the keyboard at anytime, kind of like 16 levels, this is something i wish my asr10 had but there are work around with layer editing.

Really, the Korg marketer's move to use Apple products in the microSAMPLER photos is as distasteful as anything the Beat Kangz did. The product has nothing to do with Apple, and the trays in the casing have no more to do with an iPod than a microcassette recorder.

Yet still, many bloggers are such trend-following whores they followed right along in advertising the new Korg product simply because it referenced an already popular product.

Oddly, enough- I'd feel better spending that much money on the microsampler, than the thang

neither of them are worth that though...

wait till black friday.......places like guitar center will probably have a temporary markdown for a few hours only and it could be down to 400 dollars. if not less.

Just finished reading the manual... everything looks good, except sequencing external MIDI gear doesn't seem very integrated. It doesn't explain much, but it doesn't look like it's easy to sequence both the samples and MIDI at the same time. It'd also be nice if it had an SD slot.
