Updating the MPC3000 verson

Hey peoples. My MPC3000 still sports version 3.10

How can I update it to the plain old latest (I'm not ready for 3.50 yet) ? I know Linn's site has version 3.12, but that seems to be a post 3.11 thing- any suggestions ?

3.11, 3.12 and 3.16 as floppy "session boot" versions are available in the MPC3000 list at yahoogroups files area:

3.16 as a floppy "session boot" is also available at:

http://mansell-labs.com/support.html .

Your MPC3000 with version 3.10 in ROM may have trouble loading a "session boot" upgrade.

Try it and see.

If you are unable to boot your machine from with any of the above versions then you will need an OS upgrade in ROM.
