Using the mpc as midi control for serato scratch live

Hey

im tryin for days now using my mpc 1000 (usb) to control serato via midi.
I have a midi -> usb cable.

Can someone tell me a step by step description how to do that?

And the second question is can i switch in a way from midi to sampler...?
I mean to control serato via midi, then switch and play my samples....

mpc- mode pad9,sync tab,sync in 1.(depending on port your using) main screen change drums to midi, turn on midi 1a
serato-hit midi tab everything that shows up in boxes are mappable. click then hit the pad. also can use the banks to. Figure out q-link on your own. Hope that helped.

O yeah rename the program so you always have it. And get use how you have everything mapped out (in the dark)(club)
