What up yall its been a while. Just got my 2500 and I am noticing a few changes from my xl of course. This leads me to a few questions but I will start with this one , on the 2000xl after I loop a sample I can hit parameters and see the "beat" info , etc and figure out the tempo for the sample. Is this feature in the 2500? I'm talking about where it will give you a sample length and the amount of bars. I imagine it is in the 2500 but I havent found it on mine or in the manual.
Maybe in my excitement over the new toy I am passing right by it. I've spent the last few days reading this 2500 section and trying to learn all I can. I've been here a LONG time but before I had only posted mainly in the 2000xl section and a little in the 3000/60. But now I own the 2500 and I'll be here too. Thanks in advance for any help.

Proceed directly to JJ OS2. You won't regret it. :D

Thanks , I've read a lot about it.
I will certainly look into it further but right now my question ^ is my main concern.

Yo that's cool but I 'm just trying to figure out my problem. I cant just jump to some other os without first understanding why I need to leave the akai os. I appreciate that you responded but your response does not even address my question and I dont see where you offered an answer in the jjos either. If neither one can do this than I might as well stay where I'm at and try to learn this first and then see if I need to grab that jjos. Thanks again and no disrespect but my concern right now is not jjos but the question I asked and if no one can or will answer it thats cool too.I will figure it out.
