Logic and MPC5000

I got my MPC to midi sync with Logic...

Logic as master, MPC as slave

but now all logic it does is playback my sequence.. how do i get it to record my sequence?

When i arm the track and hit record that top bar gets red but it just sits there...

lol plug the audio cables from the mpc outs to the inputs on your audio interface.

midi is not audio.

And you added a stereo audio track with the correct input channels from your MPC? And got 'Record Enable' on? Turn on input monitoring aswell to see if Logic detects any sound from your MPC
