Ok 160$ for akai ram?......anyone know where i can get a generic cheaper version that works with the 5000?

i dont know, from what i heard... and from what i can tell by looking at the ram piece...
it looks proprietary, which means akai's only development for the 5k was figuring out a way for people to have no choice but dish out the 160 bucks.

the cheapest I seen was for 99.99. It was actually the same guy I purchased mines from (he was originally selling them for 109.99 shipped)
Its on ebay, his feedback is 100%, you cant miss him...
