From the 2500 JJ OS to 5000....need ya opinions

Hey Folks...

Can you Adjust Sample Start / End Points of a Loop/Sample while the Sequencer is playin !? (like in JJ os on 2500)

and are there any (negative) changes in workflow when you come from a 2500 with JJ Os ?

i ll maybe go n cop me a 5000 next week. but first i would like to read your opinions about jumpin from a 2500 JJOS to 5000.

if you have 2500 workflow down, why not just stick with the 2500?

i would keep the 2500 and put it in the lab with all the outboard and synth shit while i would keep the MPC 5000 with his onboard Synth & my Record collection at home

so everyone is talkin that the MP 5k is bullshit....

Getting to use a 5000 (someone else's) more and more...

Do not sacrifice a 2500 with jjos for a 5000.

yeah dude, listen... I had a 2500 and now I have a 5000 and honestly I still sort of wish I had the 2500.

This machine has a lot of potential and I have seen it but the OS is not quite where the 2500 OS is. the 2500 OS is rock solid!


If I were you I'd stay with the 2500 until the 5000 OS improves a bit more.
