Transferring Wav Files From CF Card

I have the black MPC 1000 With JJOS 1.22 version installed.

When i try to load a wav. file from my CF card that i got from my CPU on the MPC it doesn't play when i hit play.
But when i downloaded the Tutorial Breakbeat Simple chops (Which are Wav. files also) those work with no problem.

Both are wav. files but only 1 works.

Do i need to format them a certain way because i have a ton of wavs on my CPU from my FL Studio days.

And speaking of the manual. Should I be reading the 1 that came with the mpc since I have JJOS? Cuz this is for the akai OS

yeah... read it regardless. most things are near identical. reading the manual will give you a better comprehension of what the machine is capable of. you may even wanna consider the "beat making on the mpc1000" manual sold online here... it really breaks down what the machine can do.
