Honestly, can everyone drop the beat thang subject, PLEASE. This shit is getting more annoying than the cats that post up asking about how they can sound like dilla/madlib. The actual concept isn't too bad but the fact that they have pizzed off so many potential users is gonna have to count against them in the end.

This really was supposed to just give the news that maybe it was delayed.
Now everyone's back to commenting on the product and marketing.

Yes, in general I don't think it's fair to have Beat Thang/Kangz bash sessions though, as these threads turn out to be. That's more like a bunch of people ridiculing the loser of the group. It'd be just as bad in reverse if people were blindly praising them.

Judge the tool based on the facts. When the software trial is available soon, give it a fair shot. Who knows, maybe it'll be perfect for you. You don't have to be their friend to use the tool.

For me personally, I wasn't feeling it. The MPC is currently more powerful, and the microSAMPLER seems better for realtime performance. But the Thang is mostly prototype right now.

If it's delayed, they'll have more time to work on it. Don't kill the thing before it even had a chance.

after the way they've presented themselves here, they don't deserve anyone's respect nor a "chance"... seriously GTFOOHWTFS
