jjos to start with ?

whats up?just ordered my first ever mpc, the 1000! and was wondering would it be more beneficial in regards to learning to use it by starting off with the akai os that comes with it or saying screw it and get the jjos right away? ive read alot about the jjos and still cant decide which one is the most effective to get any help?

I'd just go straight for the JJOS. Especially if you're not ready to spend any more money yet, just get the free one and read the manual that stan (steez?) made.

If you're gonna fork out I'd say go all out and get 2XL, you won't regret it. No doubt there'll be a lot of people that disagree, but I love it. Even though its not perfect, Its got so many good features that I couldn't go back to anything else.

Just try the oses for a few days and see which one suits you the best. I have all 3 but i stick with 2xl but i use the mpc mainly for sequencing. My only regret is not going straight to 2xl.

akai os=wack

im in the same boat.... dony know what os to use. ive been using the akai os but have been having problems loading and saving and after doing a little digging i found that the jjos changes the process a bit. is this true? any help would be appreciated

thanks man...... yeah i actually just said screw it and installed the 3.08 version today, at least til i decide to spend a little bit more cash and get jj os2, and from what i could tell in the couple hours ive used it. JJOS IS DEFINITELY BETTER THAN THE AKAI OS!!! peace.
