MPC1K & Apogee Duet

i bought the apogee duet today, i know the duet dont have midi ins...
How can i sync or connect my mpc to my macbook in the beste possible way, or do i have to buy an interface with midi in for the best result en conversion?

yes. get a midi interface.

I use a anniversary edition (black) midisport 2x2 alongside my duet with Logic Pro 8.

but midi isnt sound, so it dont matter what kind of midi interface you're using cause your not transporting sound, but you're tranporting data?? am i right?

You are right that Midi is not transporting sound, you are transferring clock data. The difference is a cheapo vs. a good quaility one is in reliability.
Something that won't break, and will provide accurate sync for every track for years to come.
