Terrible Night W/ MPC1000

wellll..heres a $h!tty situation...s0 i just finished up a beat and i saved it...i go to check how much space is left on the card and it says 0 so i try and mount the CF and nothing...im on a imac...i mount again and nothing...im back to the mpc and i try to load a project ...nothing showed on the card...i remove card and try old akai 128mb card that came with mpc...it mounts fine...

the cf card that doesnt work is a Dane elec 2gb....everything was fine before tonight..ive been using this card for about a month now and had no problems...

like a idiot i partitioned the card so it had split into two sections[thinking it would solve it, i really dont kno why i did that]...then i re-partioned it and i believe its back to how it suppose to be...[super idiot move since the beginning, i know l0l]

man what a screw up...l0l...im not as mad as i think i would but theres a side of me that is hating life right now cuz there was a couple prpjects in there for a couple people....

do i have to reformat the card?...and how will that be done?

well any help would be greatly appreciated...

reformat that memory card and save your beat. and don't try no partition shit on your mpc again.

it was the partition on the cf card...im reformatting card right now...but i believee everything will be gone after it reformats...aw well...

i tried to reformat the card using disk utility..im on a mac...an when it finished i went to the mpc and press mount and a screen popped up and said..."Dick Insertion - this dick you inserted was not readable by this computer"

ima restart everything and see if that solves it...

When i restarted everything still same result..i tried to reformat using dick utility and it reads..."Dick erase Failed with the error - Input/Output Error

yeah turns out its the card because i been using the card that came with it "akai 128 mb" and its working...im starting to wonder if i ned a camera to format the cf card because the mpc wont be able to handle the re-format with the comp?...hmmm

WELLL I FIGURED OUT THE ANSWER....if this situation ever happens to you....go to the load screen...make sure "memory card" is highlights while cf card is inserted and click "window"... F2 says FORMAT...Click it then hit F5 Which says :"Do It"...and there you have it...card re-formatted....FINALLY!!!...

Trial and Error Peeps...Figured It Out My self...H0pe this helps any one who used the search function and falls into my problem...
