This is a 2 part problem and i think it will take 2 seperate sollutions for each.
A) My pads started to get **** up. In the 2nd two rows on the right. I saw a similar post to this and have an idea of how to trouble shoot/clean the pads, however, this will be my first time taking apart the MPC.
Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial or video showing how to take apart an MPC2500 and clean the pads, or can someone on here explain how to do that?

B) I think my OS is corrupted. I've connected my MPC to so many computers and macs to get samples that I think it got confused. I just recently deleted a TON of samples of the HD and it started to act strange.
When I move through the menus to load samples sometimes the text will turn into symbols that I can't read, like some alien language, and no amount of f'cking around with it will get it to return to normal until I simply re-power on the machine. This sounds like an OS problem to me.
What is the easiest way to do a factory reset on the MPC2500? or should I try loading a different OS? Has anyone had a problem like this and are there any other trouble shooting steps I should try?
Finally, could the OS problem be **** up the pads as well? Or is it just dirty pads?...
