This has been driving me nuts since testerday. I am trying to find out what sample is used in this Diamond District track "off the late night". I thought it maybe sounded like a smokey robinson sample but have searched through all my smokey records with no luck. Hopefully someone can hear it and help me out. I appreciate any help.

Thanks DJ e.d.e and hotbeatz50!!!! It was bugging the hell out of me to know what sample was used. Whats crazy is that i have that record  lol They must have changed the pitch and chopped the sh*t out of it. Its put back together so well though. I assumed when i first heard the beat that it was a looped sample. The producer did a good job of re-arranging his chops. When i get home im gonna throw that sample into the mpc and mess with it. Once again thanks for the help.

I have been listening to this and i am not 100% sure this is the sample used. Im pretty sure its a smokey sample in the beat though. I even through it in the mpc and fooled around with the pitch and still nothing. I will take a listen at some other records and do some more searching. Thaanks for the help with this.
