8 output expansion pack for MPC 2000xl - UK installation

Hi

Does anyone know of any places in the UK, or even any lists of places in the UK (so hopefully I can find one closer to where I live in the SW) where I can buy the 8 output expansion and get it installed on my MPC as I dont have enough electronic/tehnical knowhow to do this myself, and wouldnt wanna risk voiding the warranty and messing it up anyway.

Just out of interest, what warranty do you have seeing as Akai stopped making the xl a while back?

ya gotta go to some place like guitar center (dey dont just have guitars, dey got mpcs in shight too!) n just ask for an mpc to fiddle around wit. soon u can decide which 1 you want, n if it comes wit warrantee. ask if it has dose output shights u was talkin about

All you have to do is plug a cable from the 8 outs into a socket on the motherboard and screw the board into its mount. If you can plug 1/4" cables into the back of the mpc, you have enough technical knowledge to install the 8 outs.


And theres no way you still have warranty on an xl. Call or email Akai with a question about your xl and they will laugh at you (if they even respond to your questions...)
