Give us the specifics on exactly what you did when you saved, what u pushed, what menus u were in.
That type of stuff and a 2500 extraordinaire user can answer up and help you out, we can't read minds and guess, lol.

Help us help you ya know.

Be specific with your situation and problem and that''s all the better to help you with.

i was messing with a snare i sampled. mode>program>filter

after i was satisfied with how it sounded i went back to the main screen and kept drumming, everything was cool.

went to save on my hard drive mode>save> and saved it to my folder.

later i went to load it, and it loaded as the original snare (without the filtered changes)

i tried it again cause i was like "wtf? maybe i **** up" so i filtered it again, saved it. turned the machine off. powered up. loaded it. and it was the original again.

anything?

Did it save as another name? ...and then you loaded the original instead of the newly named sample? Did the mpc ask you to overwrite the original or something like that? Try again and pay close attention to the save menu.

well the first time i saved. it was the first save so there was no need for the replace rename cancel screen to pop up. and it still loaded as the original. the next time i saved it poped up and i chose to replace. and again loaded as the original.
