I think it will work but seeing that it's IDE, it's NOT hotswappable.

Make sure it's 40 pin IDE and has master/single/slavepresent jumpers on it.

I doubt it but IF, it requires software/drivers to be installed on the host system it will not work as
there is NO WAY to install software into the mpc, besides OS firmware.
