About Scsi harddrive

Hi! Its been a while... But I wanna ask what is max capacity for scsi harddrive? Because I have an friend who have an 20gb scsi extraneal... But I saw it was max one gb... but my brother said its no diffrent. What is the diffrent then?

I have an external scsi 9gb that works just fine, I have it partitioned I think 1gb each partition though.

2kxl manual, Chapter 10: Disk Operation, Page 155, Formatting a SCSI Drive.

"Set the partitioning. When you are using a large disk, such as a hard disk, it is easier to
manage files by dividing the disk into partitions which are then named in alphabetical
order. The Partition size= field will display the size of each partition set in the
Parts: field.

When A-A is selected in the Parts: field, the disk will not be partitioned. When A-D is
selected in the Parts: field, the disk will be divided into four partitions: A, B, C, and D.
The disk space will be equally divided.

Note: If a partitioned disk is connected to a PC, the partition data may be destroyed,
preventing data retrieval."

Ahh thanks man! One more thing: Does it not intefare with iomega zip when I plug in the scsi?

Plug in scsi BEFORE you power on.

Unplug scsi AFTER you power down.

You have internal zip? Cool. External SCSI and Internal ZIP can both be used for read/write.
It's fine.

Cool thanks for the help! If im lucky I can get like 30 to 40 dollers for it. Maybe even cheaper. :)

Lampdog: I wanna ask, I dont know about vaule todays scsi harddrive but is it cheap an External scsi harddrive with matches cables for about 20 bucks?

I can't help you with figuring out price and such, I don't know. Mine was given to me a while back.
I've never bought one.
