beat frequency

beat frequency

hello,

i'm new to mpc 2kxl and like to know what causes the problem that when i play my hihat constantly the mpc makes small pauses to the beat and at some moments frequences the beat?

Maybe you have Quantize on?

Maybe you have the quantize set wrong? 1/8 maybe?

WHat the heck does "frequences the beat" mean?
