Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hello people!

I have a 500 on the way in the post and have been doing my research. Im not new to beat making / music production, just to the MPC.

Alls I wanna know is if you can import a sample to the MPC, for example a chord, and assign it to each pad like keys of a piano. So the first pad plays my sample in note C, the 2nd pad plays my sample in note D, the 3rd in note E and so on???

If so, how do i do it?

Cheers

Is the chord u want to import into the mpc 1 sample or three samples?
If 3 samples then place 1 sample on 3 separate pads.
If 1 sample then your stuck with one sample. MPC will not AUTO slice those chord
frequencies, that's not what it does.
