I Need Help with my MPC 2500

I just went to the website those tutorial things are sold( links on the right) and i bought a bunch of samples and sounds, I hooked my MPC up to my computer (i have a mac) and went to drop the file on my mpc and it loaded in. Now i can see it in the load screen as a file, and i hit DO IT and it asks to load the programs and samples and i select DO IT. but after that when i go to my main screen i cant find it. Do i have to pull it from somewhere?

So im at the main screen i hit MODE then Pad 2(load)
and it says

Load from: MEMORY CARD (which is where its loaded to)
:ROOT
File: (folder icon) Drum Education (which is the samples thing i bought)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
View: ALL FILES Wave Free= 121.4MB
Seq. Free= 1656KB

so at this point ill select DO IT


the thing pops up with the load all programs and samples
and i have replace same files in memory set to yes



then i hit do it

and it doesnt load anything the screen just goes back to the Load screen


and i go back to main and cant find it in the programs

I dont wanna sound like a dik but this is manual 101 man.

from the main screen highlight pgm and select the program you just loaded.

OR hit MODE+Program to audition the sounds.

then READ YOUR MANUAL

thats the thing i read the manual and have done that.


its like the only place the sounds are save is on the flash drive. cause when im in the load screen i can see it there but when i try to load it nothing happens.

and ive tried to find it in mode program and it wont show up

thats my problem trust me man ive been reading that manual for hours trying to figure this shit out. i appreciate the help

im wondering if its an actual problem with my mpc, or if there if theres something wrong with the samples, i bought them formatted for the 2500 tho so i dont think its that. yea im a little new to this and im just tryin to get this goin. and again thanks for any help provided

dont load the FOLDER.
you need to enter into the folder and load the .PGM file.
then hit MODE+PAD7 and find the program.

It may be a bad program file, but I doubt its a mpc problem. No offense Im going with user error.

And it not entirely your fault because the load/save screen of the AKAI OS are WACK.
that is why everyone else uses JJOS

its is MUCH easier to see what your loading with this OS instead of the AKAI OS. amongst other things. TRUST ME
