You got it bro, I haven't dropped a jewel in a while anyway--
Adjusting the start (especially the start) and end points in TRIM mode can significantly alter the timing and groove of your sequence. That's why it's dope to be able to make adjustments in TRIM while the sequencer is running--- you hear the changes in real-time. A LOT of machines can't do this, including MPC's w/ Akai OS.
And there is another advantage of adjusting your timing using sample start in TRIM mode. It allows me to get around the 96 PPQ sequencer resolution, and really get my samples to to hit with the EXACT timing I want. Just zoom into the sample start point and adjust as needed.
