tracking - analog vs digital

im gearing up to start tracking out a bunch of my beats. gonna do each track one at a time and sync to the computer with MTC, but im wondering wether i should use the digital outs or the main outs? will i lose anything if i bypass the D/A conversion?

If you have all the gear to do this then you should experiment to see which you like most and which sounds best to you. That way you'll get your answer first hand instead of some bias people have against digital/analog whatever stuff.

If you have the stuff to do this it's free, try both and see.
