hahahahaha sooo true. a rapper in my country's called Savage - he did that Swing song... he's always got the mean mug in his photos and he a big fat samoan fulla. but his real name is Demetrius :lol:

theres also a few other rappers with funny first real names... i cant remember off the top of my head though

Ive never had a good alias for producing, I go by "master sailor, blunt inhalor" when im jokingly freestyling with friends, and herbal productions is the name of my production lab. I tend to cut down the name to the master, the masterful, master sailor, etc.

I got it when we were out on a boat in summer in highschool and I was smoking a blunt with all this crazy sailor shit on that I found on my friend's dad's boat, so my other friend goes "damn dude youre the master sailor blunt smoker", and I looked at him and go "blunt inahlor" and it stuck

I chose BlahZayy on my own, because I saw the word blase, looked it up and it meant lazy, so I changed the spelling a bit to make it BlahZayy, so its now ironic because im far from lazy (in a musical sense). im constantly looking for samples, working on a beat or listening to other music for ideas. im always on the go. so a lot of people around my way that know me and my music, actally call me DJ BlahZayy. but they know im not actually a DJ tho. lol

i used to be called SpiKe or DJ SpiKe, because of my haircut. and the girls used to "pet" my hair and call me spikey. LOL

but i prefer BlahZayy, because i seriously doubt anyone has seen that word or knows what it means.

I had been using a name for a while on my pause tapes and shit I used to pass around for fun. Then we got internet and I had to switch my name because lycos( :lol: classic) at the time pulled up some dj in atlanta using the name. Final name I stuck with was magic trax. People can usually remember it easily, but half the time just call me trax instead.

i think i subconsciously stole my producer name from louis logic's album sin-a-matic. one day I 'thought' up of sinamatik and then a few months later I remember louis logic came out with an album called sinamatic. i haven't actually heard it, i keep meaning to cop it.... but yea, it wasnt intentional. promise :lol:

i was honestly amazed that i came up with such a cool name, only to be disappointed that i had inadvertently bitten it :twisted:
heres hoping louis logic doesnt blow up... :lol:

Louis is pretty big in some circles- you definitely need to cop that album though! Great shit...He and JJ brown are like PBJ

Funny you mention that because I remember going :?: when I saw your name...just thought you were either a big fan, or hadn't heard of the project at the time...

but yeah....go get that!

yeah word its hard to find.. most cd stores only ship major releases here so might have to itunes it. i remember it had a massive underground buzz the year it came out, and always been meaning to check it out.. anyways i did make the effort to change the 'c' to a 'k'. how original am i!!!
