I spoke to a manager in Sam Ash music and he told me there may possibly be a JJ OS for the MPC 4000. Is this true... Do you know how to get a hold of it...

Yeah, there are not updates for the mpc 4000. We can only hope the next mpc will be more in line with the 4000.

yes,its a bit late in the day for new operating systems for the 4k also to late for a replacement.the beauty of this machine is the vintage and finality of it.although its only,what 7 yrs its the last of its kind.its doing enough for me.i imagine the 3k is a lil less flexible{no usb ect)and the 5k is very flexi but obviously is not as great.4k is kind of perfect under the circumstances.is missing some high end tho.m
