ull never know when ull need it... what happens if u goto a studio that cant hook up ur adat????

I have my own Pro Tools studio. If someone wants a track from me,and they want to record it somewhere else I just send them a session disk. Hopefully the days of paying someone else for time is over for good. If things keep going the way they are I'm upgrading to HD by the winter.

I got protools and a mpc4000 but when I save a session on my pc and burn it .I can never open it up on the mac . how do you do it .

Make sure you record as a wav,and the enforce PC/Mac compatibilty is set to on. And most of the people I deal with use Macs.
