just bought a used mpc1k

sup guys.
im new to the mpc world.
i just bought a used mpc1k for
$300 about 3 days ago.
ive read the manuel about 10 times and
still cant figure out how to transfer a sample
from my computer onto the mpc.
could you guys help me out???
it would be greatly appreciated.

connect the two with a usb cable. then: mode + load, followed by F3 "usb". the mpc now appears on your computer as an external device. drag files from comter to mpc.

check the manual for acceptable file names and file formats if you have any trouble transferring files.
