Saving?

I recently got an MPC500 and it hasn't taken me too long to get the hang of it - i've read the manual a few times but can't get my head around saving my work once i'm done.

What's the best way to save things?

i want to save so that when i turn on the mpc i can find the last beat i was working on and load up everything as it was when i left it - samples, tracks, sequences all arranged as when i left it.
