MTC synch from pro tools skipping 5 bars.

I'm trying to get my MPC3000 (3.11) synched with pro tools 8. When I press play in pro tools, it starts, then jumps to bar 5 in my 16 bar sequence. Anybody know why this might be happening? It's only when I start the sequence. When it loops, it doesn't skip the bars.

Of course I just added 5 blank bars to the beginning of the first sequence to match my song, but why would this happen?

Check your start time settings. Check the MPC & Pro Tools sync windows, make sure your "session start" settings are set to the same thing.
