MPD32 problems

I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on my MPD32, and have not been able to do it. I have tried Sysex Librarian and followed the manual (from Akai) and I still seem to get nowhere.

Please help!
I'm using OS X 1.6 snow leopard and also have Windows Vista.

When did a new update for the MPD 32 come out?
