why? all these complaints?

all of these complaints and then all of the praise? Whats going on w/ the mpc are their bugs or not? are people having bugs because they did not update their os?

can't answer that dog,i think my 1k is the only one ever made that is bug free.I haven't had any probs yet.

This is typical of new products. Older products get rare attention to their bugs even though they may have more of them. The XL has a significant number of bugs but you do not hear about them.

There's also the PEBKAC issues that get posted as bugs on the forum...

no bugs here, although Im sure if I find one..it will cause the apocalypse, the rivers of hell will flow over eventually fillling the underworld and begin oozing up from the floor in my.. or maybe bugs don't mean the end of the world.....or maybe I just don't want you to think that. maybe I plan to comjure up spirits to help me run a global diet pill scheme.

no problems here too, i guess my pad 15 be actin dum sometimes but other than that i love this thing.

I have an XL... Not one problem yet... I think the XL is the most solid product in the Akai line honestly (besides the 60)... The 3000 has bugs and the 4000 was rushed into production so it also has bugs...

Yeah 4 real - got the XL, when i bought it {i think it was the second or third day} I had one crash - everything on the screen turned to numbers and every sample I had loaded played at once, sounded **** up - i thawt it was ****. 12 months later not one sign of a crash.... weird huh.
