It seems the scrolling function on my MPC is not working correctly when i'm trying to load some sounds.
This is my problem, I go into my load screen, then i highlight a folder that I want to load sounds from. I then hit Open Window to select the specific folder to load the sounds from.
Everything is fine, I can go through each folder, no problem.
Then I got to audition sounds to assign to pads, while I'm doing this, I go to listen to other sounds, so I hit open window again and try to go to a different folder and when I try to do this, nothing happens. I turn the jog wheel and it just stays there on the folder that i am looking into.
It'll scroll through the sounds in the folder that i am already looking in, but it go back to the other folders so I can change sounds.
I even try using the cursor buttons and still nothing happens.
This is very frustrating, does anyone know what the problem is?
Edit:
I switched my Zip out and put in the one I usually use to make some beats with.
Everything worked fine on it, so does it sound like a problem with the Zip I used, even though it's the same brand?
I did notice on the one that works fine, the Type said PC and the one that crapped out on me, the type said MPC 2000XL
