hey peeps where can i get kits or samples for free over the net and also what do you perfer for a first keyboard with the mpc2500?

u can get a few free samples at mpc samples.com and mpcsounds.com.
Search torrents and stuff but actually most people have to pay for their samples. Wether they use records to sample off or buy library samples.

What kind of keyboard suits u best depends on what kind of music u make, what kind of sound ur looking for, what kind of features u need etc.
Just do some research on the keyboards that are looking intresting to u

for a keyboard: for less than $200 you should be able to get a late 80, early 90s synth. look for something from yamaha, roland, ensoniq, korg or one of the casio cz series. look for something with touch sensitive keys, if it has aftertouch then even better.

here some free samples. you'll probably find out pretty quickly that doing your own sampling gives you better samples than anything you d.load.
