I thought they was all variations of the samples.....maybe added on here and there

I think the 1st 1st joint in the video was the best one though

Nah, at 0:50, he played a totally different beat. Started off low, then they brought it up loud. That one was hot!

yeah you can get those stutter tap notes on the 2500 and the 5000 too. I have noticed it recently.

I think Araab has his pad velocity customized like a mufuka... with ass fast as he hits the pads??? comon' yo

I mean yeah he is mad fast, but he is also human, and we ALL make mistakes..
But I dont hear him making any.. custom pad velocities would explain that.

Most of the time double triggering comes from not moving you finger far enough away from the pad after you hit it and your finger is bouncing of the pad.

Dude has gotten to the point where he has trained himself to be able to play the pads the way he does. This is just my thoughts on it. Maybe its is velocity settings.

not even.

it works on a 2.5k - i've done it in the store, guess i shuda mentioned that.

on the 60 jus doin 16th note phrases gets lil stutters here and there, whereas on the 2.5k u can do entire sets w/o one hiccup

How does he slow everything down with the jog wheel like that?

edit** he is using the plus and minus keys it looks like.. I have a 1000, so I dont have those. Nice feature.
