Note/Pad cutoff or Polyphony problem

when I am recording my sequences it is seeming to cancel my notes or won't allow new notes....and it's basically the drums/pads....because I can add more midi from the sound mods all day....just wont allow more notes from the programs I set up in my HD

anybody got any suggestions..or know what my problem is??

BTW: my OS is 1.23(I think)...

If you're having the MPC create programs for you from samples you've chopped, then the program is set to Mono by default, go to the Program window and change it to Poly.

I must have click'd the data wheel by accident......I just freaked out cuz It was the first time that happend to me...

Thanks for helping me backtrack on my common sense....

I actually set the program myself..but I think I had the cursor going and was clicking too fast.....
