track velocity

for what is the track velocity? i mean you record something and you play it back and it is louder....i don t understand the meaning behind that...
and is it possible to turn it off??

u have to be more specific i think..
sounds like to me that your using a soundmodule and your turning down the volume on the soundmodule, and when u press play the volume jumps?
if im wrong explain alittle better..

yes thats right i m using a soundmodule and i m creating a bassline via the grid editor...

instead of turning down the volume on the soundmodule. Go to the Mixer of the MPC. press [MODE]+Pad7 and then f2 to go to each track volume.
