hi there, appreciate the replies ha keep em coming:)

yes all my samples are wav 44khz, but unfortunately i cant trigger them without sticks as they need to be struck during sections of songs at precise times as i also play to a metronome which keeps it all in time.

So i guess the best way out of this as suggested is to check to make sure all samples are in mono to free up wav space and do that?

One question i think of now is why did i get an 80gb hdd then? what do you guys store on it???

The MPC is meant to be a sequencer first, and a sampler second. Do yourself a favor and get a computer and a midi drum pad, seems more of what your aiming at. Or build your swequences on the MPC, and use the Track Mute function.
