Hey, I've been searching high and low for a decent deal on an MPC1000 (preferable bk-n.) Besides ebay does anyone out there have any recommendations on where to pick up a unit cheap?

Thanks

Not sure where you're located - but craiglist and gumtree aren't too bad.

Bear in mind though they may not give you the same protection as Ebay - ie with paypal etc. I know Paypal isnt just for eBay but going somewhere with a wad of notes in your hand brings its own risks.

If you can wait for the right deal - I really would suggest you stick with eBay. Ive bought 3 mpcs from there.

Just ask the right questions, and use Paypal to back yourself up.

Mark.

Thanks for the pointers.

Definitely seem like ebays the way to go at the moment. I've seen plenty of the blue and red models around. Is there a huge amount of difference between them and the bk-n's (besides the pads)?

I've checked Armens online to, they seem reasonable. I'm in Sydney, Australia but I'll be heading over to NY in January. Do Armens have better deals instore than they do on their ebay store?

Thanks again.

Well if it's not out of your way that would be great. I'd be glad to know whether it's worth a visit on my way through. Don't go out of your way though (if you're looking for an excuse to checkout gear though by all means do it). Thanks.
