Hi

When im on the road I use to take the mpc1000 with me and do everything on the machine.
But when im back home I would love to be able to hook it up with software so I can use it as this since its always hard to track the beats to the computer, its always alot of hassle.
First of all, im on a mac, snow leopard.
1. connect it to a software sequencer where I can have one track for each pad on the mpc.
So that hihat, kick, snare have their own track on the sequencer with a grid edit I can use incase my timing is off when I record from my pads on the mpc.
Also bein able to arrange melody samples on the sequencer without my mpc, where I can chop it, loop it and arrange it exactly like I want.

is this even possible?

Very basic question.

Yes it is possible.

Many people use the MPC for drums/ samples and program other parts in their DAW.
